Founder and Executive Director, Yvonne Chioma Ofodile, 360 Woman Africa bags an Honorary Doctorate and an African Icon Award
July ended on a high note for all members of staff at Zetile Oil and Gas Limited, Zetile Stores Limited and the entire eco system at 360 Woman Africa as the Managing Director, Founder/Executive Director was on the 31st of July, 2022 conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business Administration (Honoris Causa) from the Myles Leadership University.
According to the registrar and Vice- Chancellor of Myles Leadership University, this PH.D is as a result of her immerse contribution to the business and human capital development as well as the socio-economic stands in Nigeria and beyond.
It soon became a double celebration as she also received an African Icon Award for her innovative and revolutionary impact-driven leadership in women and youth development, coaching, business growth and development and the social impact sector through the 360 Woman Africa (www.360womanafrica) amongst others.
In her speech, Yvonne says it feels really good to be recognized for the great and hard work that is been done daily to make the world we live in a better place. To be recognized is one thing, but to be recognized for the work you love, and the work you do comes with a heightened level of fulfillment. She appreciates the great contribution the University is making to see that indeed the leaders of today and that of tomorrow are better equipped with the right tools and exposure for the work at hand. She also used the opportunity to call for an increased inter and intra border collaborative work /trade for the good of everyone while dedicating the award to her entire team both at Zetile Group and 360 Woman Africa.
Yvonne Chioma Ofodile has 12 years’ experience combined experience in areas like human resource, business development and strategy, commercial/haulage sales and marketing, leadership and personal development within the oil and gas industry and social enterprise sector. She serves as the Managing Director at Zetile Oil and gas Ltd, an integrated downstream Oil and Gas distribution and marketing company. CEO, Zetile Stores Limited a fast-growing supermarket chain based in Lekki Lagos Nigeria and also the Founder/ED of 360 Woman Africa, a leadership and enterprise development non-profit for women in Africa. A Uk certified life coach and award-winning young business leader.
The event was hosted in Ghana and in attendance were government representatives from Ghana, sector and industry heads, MD/CEOS of conglomerates.
