360 Woman Africa Women In Business Empowerment Fund<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The 360 Woman Africa Women in Business Empowerment Fund is an initiative launched to provide seed capital and grant opportunities to women entrepreneurs after successful completion of the two weeks Mini-MBA training. The initiative provides training, mentorship, access to global markets and trends and networking opportunities.<\/p>

In 2021, we would be giving out N2,500,000.00<\/strong> to five entrepreneurs (Female Owned Businesses) in Nigeria.<\/p>

The award selection process is managed by an independent audit team of professionals from accredited audit and financial firms across the globe.<\/p>

Hon. Commissioner for Women Affairs Hon,Mrs Cecilia Bolaji Dada launches and commissions the 360 Woman Africa Women in Business Empowerment Fund\u00a0<\/p>

The grant aims is to improve gender inclusiveness by improving access to finance for women entrepreneurs. The grant initiative which is open to \u00a0delegates who have attended and successfully graduated from the\u00a0 Mini-MBA training was launched as one of our strategies at 360 Woman Africa to reach the underserved market which has hugely women-owned and women-run businesses, to train them on modern skills to thrive in today\u2019s business world, scale their businesses, connect them with other successful business entrepreneurs and finally support successful applicants with grant awards to boost the growth and profitability opportunities\u201d<\/p>

Yvonne Chioma Ofodile during her speech spoke on how the training remains a relevant tool for economic empowerment, \u201cJob creation and inclusiveness growth which has become one of the biggest social development problems in Africa. One key channel to provide these growths would be from the private sector, especially SME\u2019s and taking it a step further women entrepreneurs which has now seen that the female economy has one of the fastest-growing markets of the world. An African woman is known to be a business woman and our job is to take them a step further with our training so they can grow and then create jobs while also increasing the number of Women-Led Businesses and her access to finance in Nigeria.<\/p>

At the commissioning and launch of the Grant Award programme, the Honorable Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Cecilia Bolaji Dada acknowledged Yvonne Chioma Ofodile (Founder and Current Chairperson) and the entire 360 Woman Africa team for the great work they are doing in promoting women development, women empowerment, job creation, gender parity, gender equality, solving unemployment and alleviating poverty within her community. She admonished the winners of the award Deborah Adediran CEO, Diya Collections Ltd (Fashion Industry) \u00a0located in Kwara state Nigeria, Mojisola Jaiye-Gbenle CEO, Roquette & Deen, (Agriculture Industry) located in Lagos Nigeria, Opeyemi Ojo CEO, Crystal Varieties Homes (Child care and Hospitality) located in \u00a0Kaduna, Nigeria and finally Abigail Israel CEO, Marble Stitches Ltd (Fashion)located in Lagos, Nigeria to make sure they keep growing their businesses and also contribute their quota to the development of the various communities in which they belong.
